Résumé: This Study Came To Answer The Main Problem: What Is The Reality Of Applying Internal Control Methods In Light Of The Information Technology Environment? This study aims to identify the reality of control methods in light of information technology in Algerian commercial banks, through the importance of the internal control system in commercial banks, especially in light of the banks' tendency towards digitization. For this purpose, a case study was carried out in the National External Bank and the agency of Tikrit, where the internal control system and the importance of technology in the bank were exposed, especially in light of digitization, and reliance was made on an interview with bank employees on the importance of digitization, control methods, and the importance played by internal control in commercial banks. A number of results were reached through the study, the most important of which was that internal control is of great importance in commercial banks and the importance of control in light of the shift towards digitization and information technology in commercial banks
