Étude Thermodynamique D’un Moteur Diesel Caterpillar 3512a
Résumé: The CATERPILLAR 3512 diesel engine is operated as a group of forces or as a generator that drives an alternator to produce electrical energy to power drilling equipment (mud pump, winch, rotary table, etc..) thus to ensure lighting in the oil rig, and camps. This work aims to determine the operating parameters and performance of a diesel engine by fixing the number of times and the number of cylinders. The thermal calculation of the engine is for the purpose of determining the thermodynamic parameters and the performance of the engine actual conditions, the main results show that the power = 618.86 kW and the efficiency = 38.1%. To have good engine performance, it is necessary to apply a good maintenance policy as well as maintenance and permanent checks to ensure proper operation.
