Résumé: This research aims to study the impact of real exchange rate change on Algeria’s economic growth, and for this purpose, we used the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL drawing on annual time series data covering the period from 1980 to 2020. The results of bounds test showed a co-integration relationship between the variables of the study (GDP, exchange rate, trade openness, gross fixed capital formation, oil prices, population growth and inflation), and it was also found that this rise in the exchange rate leads to rise in economic growth in Algeria.
