Résumé: This study seeks to uncover the stylistic dimensions of Nizar Qabbani's poem "The Angry Ones" by analysing the image of the children of Gaza as manifested in the poetic text. A stylistic approach was adopted based on analysing the syntactic, lexical and semantic levels, as well as the temporal structure and contrasts in order to identify how the poetic image is constructed and its symbolic and semantic manifestations. This approach reveals the effectiveness of Nizar Qabbani's poetic language and his ability to employ the poem as a tool of resistance and a cultural weapon that conveys the suffering of peoples and embodies the cry of the oppressed, especially children, in the face of injustice and tyranny. The study also highlights the speciality of the poet's method of opening his poems, and his ingenuity in raising collective consciousness through the tension between expressive simplicity and depth of meaning, making his poetry a document of condemnation that is both humanitarian and aesthetic at the same time.
