الأحجار الكريمة والمجوهرات النفيسة والرخيسة من خلال دراسة لكتاب الجماهر في معرفة الجواهر للبيروني

Résumé: الملخص: يهدف بحثنا إلى إعادة صورة المفكر الموسوعي أبو الريحان البيروني إلى الواجهة والتذكير بأهم إنجازاته الفكرية والعلمية، ومنه تسليط الضوء على منتوج علمي بحت " الجماهر في معرفة الجواهر" الذي عرض فيه دراسة علمية للأحجار الكريمة ونقد ما كتبه علماء العرب والهند، حيث إعتمد على الخصائص الفيزيائية والطبيعية للأحجار ، وتوصل البيروني إلى تقدير الثقل النوعي لـ 18 صنف منها والتي تكمن أهميتها عند إشتراك أكثر من معدن في بعض الخصائص الأمر الذي يستلزم خاصية ثالثة للتمييز بينها. Abstract : This tagged research aims to bring back the image of the encyclopedic thinker Abu Al-Rayhan Al-Biruni to the fore; Remembering his most important intellectual and scientific achievements. Including shedding light on a purely scientific product, “The Masses in Knowledge of Jewels,” in which he presented a scientific study of precious stones and criticized what Indian and Arab scholars wrote. Where he relied on the physical and natural characteristics of the stones, and Al-Biruni reached an estimate of the specific gravity of 18 types of precious stones, whose importance lies when two or more minerals share some characteristics, which is; A third property is required to distinguish them.
