Résumé: This study aims to show the extent to which the governor of accounts contributes to enhancing confidence in the internal control system through the role the latter played in activating the operation by giving it more credibility and a clear picture; and this was performed through the survey of a sample of professionals and academics in the South-east of Algeria, as well as a practical study through our presentation of the governor's report of a services company. The study concludes that the governor of accounts has an essential role to play through the major reports he establishes and presents, the most important analysis of the internal control system he conducts periodically, and the confidence the company owners place in him in order to verify and ensure the integrity of the company and control its management; and this of course occurs while expressing his opinion in an objective and impartial manner
