Résumé: الملخص: ركّزت الاسطوغرافيا الاستشراقية الفرنسية حول ثيمة الجزائر في العهد العثماني على مسائل دقيقة بغية تشويه صورة العثمانيين، بينما احجمت عن التطرق للمسائل الأخرى التي عرفت تحسّنا في تلك الفترة كالعلاقات الخارجية وحال الاقتصاد والمبادلات التجارة، والجانب الثقافي والعلمي وغيرها. ومن بين تلك المسائل؛ مسألة الغاء كينونة الدولة الجزائرية قبل الاحتلال الفرنسي عام 1830م، ومسألة القرصنة، ومسألة الأسرى، إضافة الى مسألة الفتن الداخلية والغنائم، الأمر الذي أفرز وبشكل لافت اسطوغرافيا فرنسية مشدِّدة على التاريخ السياسي ومؤدلجة لأحداث والوقائع. الكلمات المفتاحية: الاسطوغرافيا –الجزائر –العهد العثماني Abstract : French Eastern historiography has focused on the theme of Algeria in the Ottoman era on specific issues in order to distort the image of the Ottomans, while refraining from dealing with other problems that had occurred. during this period, such as external relations, the state of the economy, trade, cultural and scientific aspects. Among these issues are the question of the abolition of the Algerian state before the French occupation in 1830, the question of piracy and the question of prisoners, as well as the question of internal conflicts.
