Résumé: The study region, Rhourde Ouled Djemaa (ROD) is located in the Berkine basin, which presents a Paleozoic and Mesozoic cover with a thickness of more than 5000 m lying unconformably on the base. The Lower Triassic Clayey Sandstone reservoir is the objective of this study, which is characterized by variations in petrophysical parameters and lithological changes, which significantly influence productivity and drilling results. Based on regional and local geological studies, sedimentological analysis, and petrophysical interpretation with the combination of subsurface maps, we can better understand our reservoir (TAG-I) from a Geological and Petrophysical point of view. leads us to the right choice of locations for new wells, either for production or for injection and for improving production which is in depletion.
