Etude De L’effet Inhibiteur Des Huiles Essentielles Deanacyclusvalentinus L Sur La Corrosion De L’acier X70 Dans Un Milieu D'acide H2so4 (0.5m

Résumé: Corrosion is a problem that affects most industrial sectors and can cause huge losses. In the case of industrial processes, metals are exposed to the action of acids used in petrochemical processes and during cleaning in several industries. In this work, we are interested in the study of the protection of carbon steel in acid medium (H2SO4) 1M by adding the essential oil of Anacyclusvalentinus L from the region of El Menia(Algeria), at different concentrations0,125 g/l, 0,250 g/l, 0,5g/l et 1g /l and 2 g / l. The influence of concentration and temperature on corrosion processes in the absence and in the presence of the inhibitor has been studied by mass loss measurements. The results of this study show that the essential oil of Anacyclusvalentinus L can slow or even slow down by a process of inhibition of acid corrosion (sulfuric acid.) of steel. The percentage of corrosion inhibition obtained is between 19.3% and82.37%. It should be noted that the maximum inhibition is reached with the concentration 1 g / l of essential oil. This study confirms the strong anticorrosive potential of the Anacyclusvalentinus L essential oil.
