ظاهرة الشيخوخة في المجتمع الجزائري وتحدياتها الاجتماعية والصحية النفسية

Résumé: ملخص: إن الزيادة في أعداد المسنين هي أحد الإنجازات الكبيرة للمجتمعات الحديثة، فالناس يعيشون اليوم أعمارا أطول كثيرا مما كان عليه الحال قبل قرن من الزمن بسبب التقدم في الطب والتغذية والتكنولوجيا، والجزائر كبقية الدول بدأت تعيش بوادر وملامح هذه الظاهرة. ومن التحديات الكبيرة في هذا الصدد تناقص قوة العمل مع تزايد نسبة كبار السن الذين تعولهم قوة العمل، كما أن صغر حجم الأسر وخروج المرأة للعمل وانتشار الفقر يؤثر على تقديم الرعاية وتأمين الدخل لكبار السن خاصة في البلدان النامية حيث الأسرة هي عماد الرعاية للمسنين، فطول العمر مع الصحة يتيح فرصا هائلة للتنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية ولرضى النفس، ولكن تحقيق هذا الهدف يقتضي من المجتمعات في جميع أنحاء العالم أن تكفل لجميع الأشخاص بما فيهم المسنين وفي جميع الأعمار ما يعينهم على حياة صحية كريمة. Abstract: The increase in the number of elderly people is one of the great achievements of modern societies. People are now living much longer than they were a century ago because of advances in medicine, nutrition and technology, and Algeria, like other countries, is beginning to experience the beginnings and features of this phenomenon. One of the major challenges in this regard is the decrease in the labor force as the proportion of older persons supported by the labor force increases, and the small size of families, women's exit to work and widespread poverty affect care and income security for older persons, especially in developing countries where the family is the mainstay of care for the elderly. Health offers enormous opportunities for economic and social development and self-satisfaction, but to achieve this goal requires communities around the world to ensure that all people, including the elderly and at all ages, are able to lead a healthy and dignified life.
