Through their banking houses spread across Europe, they established an extensive network that granted them unparalleled access to economic information and significant influence over financial markets. This dissertation aims to explore the intricate dynamics between the Rothschild family and the British government. It will investigate the family's rise and establishment in the UK, examine their influence over the British government, and shed light on their significant role in shaping economic policies, political decision-making, and international relations of that time. Additionally, this study seeks to analyse the impacts of the Rothschild family's influence on the British government by examining key historical events, economic transformations, and political landscapes. This research follows multiple approaches: the historical and the descriptive approaches shed light on the events relevant to the research, while the analytical approach analyses those events. The dissertation will rely on books, scientific articles, documentaries, and archival documents. The study concludes that the influence of the Rothschild family over the British government was a complex and profound situation. This influence enabled the Rothschild family to increase their power and wealth throughout the 19th century and the early 20th century. Furthermore, the Rothschild family's influence played a significant role in numerous political and economic decision-making processes by the British government throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries
