Résumé: ملخص :هدفت الدراسةالكشف عن واقع استخدام الأساتذة الجامعيين للغة الانجليزية في بحوثهم العلميةو كذا أثر استخدامها على البحث العلمي و محاولة معرفة المعوقات التي تواجههم في استخدامهم لهذه اللغة ,و لتحقيق ذلك تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي مع الاستعانة بالاستبان لجمع المعلومات , وخلصت الدراسة أن استخدام الأساتذة الجامعيين للغة الانجليزية ضعيف مقارنة مع اللغة العربية و الفرنسية و أن استخدامهم له أثرايجابي على البحث العلمي بالجزائر و يسهم في رفع مقروئية الأبحاث الجزائرية و النشر الدولي , أمافيما تعلق بالمعوقات التي تواجههم في استخدامهم لها تمثلت في الكتابة بالدرجة الأولى ثم النطق وأخيرا الفهم . Abstract study aimed to reveal the reality of the use of English by university professors in their scientific research and the impact of their use on scientific research and to try to find out the obstacles they face in their use of this language. To achieve this, the analytical descriptive curriculum has been used, with the help of information gathering questionnaires. The study concluded that university professors' use of English is weak compared to Arabic and French and that their use has a positive impact on scientific research in Algeria and contributes to raising the readability of Algerian research and international publishing. As for the obstacles they face in using them, writing is first class, then pronunciation, and finally understanding.
