Résumé: شهدت العلاقات السياسية بين تونس والجزائر خلال عهد الدايات 1671_1830م تأرجحا بين العداء والمصاحبة بسبب الاختلاف الكبير الذي كان بين حكام الإياتين وذلك غلب عليها طابع النزاع والتوتر نظرا للصراع القائم على السلطة من فترة إلى أخرى ومشكلة الحدود بإضافة إلى عدم تقبلهم إقامة التعاون العسكري من شأنه أن يسهم في تحسين أوضاعهم,وفي ضل هدا الصراع والاضطرابات لجأت الايالتين الى الدولة العثمانية التي لعبت دور كبير في تحول مسار العلاقات من الصراع إلى السلم والمصالحة وحسن الجوار لما تربطهما من تبعية للدولة العثمانية. The political relations between Tunisia and Algeria during the era of the Deys 1671_1830 AD witnessed a fluctuation between hostility and accompaniment due to the great difference that existed between the rulers of the two Iyat. In improving their conditions, and in the shadow of this conflict and turmoil, the two Elyas resorted to the Ottoman Empire, which played a major role in shifting the course of relations from conflict to peace, reconciliation and good neighborliness due to their dependence on the Ottoman state.
