قراءةٌ في كتاب "تاريخ الجزائر الثَّقافي" لأبو القاسم سعد الله التَّيارات والمؤثِّرات في الحياة الثقافيَّة

Résumé: تتناول الدِّراسة الأرضيَّة التي قامت عليها الحياة الثَّقافية في الجزائر خلال العهد العثماني، والتي رصدها المؤرخ أبو القاسم سعد الله في كتابه تاريخ الجزائر الثَّقافي، فبعد سقوط دول المغرب العربي وإماراته الصَّغيرة، كان بنو زيان بتلمسان (الجزائر)، أقلُّ تلك الإمارات سعةً وهيمنةً، لانحصارهم بين قُوَّتين أَكبَرُ حجمًا، ولأنَّ قادتها لم يُشَيِّدُوا مركزًا ثقافيًا، يُنافس الزَّيتونة، القَرويين والأَزهَر، لكنَّ الجزائر عوّضت هذا الضَّعف سياسيًا في العهد العثماني، بعدما أصبحت قُطبُ الرَّحى، ومركز الثِّقَل وسَيِّدَةُ البِحار، مُضافةً إليها ليبيا بعض الوقت، وتونس كُلَّ الوقت، بينما بقي المغرب يتخبَّط في صراعٍ عائلي شريفي، وبذلك رُسمت خريطةٌ جديدةٌ للمغرب العربي. The study deals with the ground on which cultural life was based in Algeria during the Ottoman era, which was monitored by the historian Abul-Qasim Saadallah in his book The Cultural History of Algeria. After the fall of the Arab Maghreb countries and its small emirates, the Banu Zayyan of Tlemcen (Algeria) was the least of these emirates in terms of capacity and dominance, because they were sandwiched between two forces that were larger in size, and because their leaders did not build a cultural center, competing with the Al-Zaytouna Mosque, Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and Al-Azhar Mosque. However, Algeria compensated for this weakness politically during the Ottoman era, after it became the center of gravity and the master of the seas, in addition to Libya at times, and Tunisia at all times, while Morocco remained floundering in an honorable family conflict. Thus, a new map of the Arab Maghreb was drawn.
