حماية موظفي الأمم المتحدة وفقا لاتفاقية سلامة موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين بها لعام 1994
Résumé: ملخص مع ازدياد نشاط الأمم المتحدة بعد نهاية الحرب الباردة تعرض موظفي الأمم المتحدة أثناء عملهم في مناطق الصراعات إلى الهجوم بالقتل أو الخطف أو أخذهم رهائن، ولتصدي هذه الأخطار تم اعتماد اتفاقية سلامة موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين ﺑﻬا في 9 ديسمبر 1994 ، تفرض هذه الاتفاقية التزاما على الدولة المضيفة لعملية من عمليات الأمم المتحدة بأن توفر الحماية لموظفي الأمم المتحدة وممتلكاﺗهم وتجريم الاعتداءات عليهم في قوانينها الوطنية والمعاقبة عليها. Abstract With the increase in the activity of the United Nations after the end of the Cold War, the exposure of United Nations personnel while working in conflict areas to attack by killing, kidnapping, or taking hostages, and to address these dangers, the Convention on the Safety of United Nations Personnel and Associated Personnel was adopted on December 9, 1994. This Convention imposes an obligation on the state hosts of a United Nations operation to protect United Nations personnel and their property and to criminalize and punish attacks against them in their national laws.
