دراسة قياسية لأثر التضخم العالمي على الامن الغذائي في الجزائر خلال الفترة 1990-2022 باستخدام نماذج Midas
Résumé: The study aimed to use MIDAS models to model the impact of monthly inflation rates on food security in Algeria. The study also aimed to estimate two MIDAS models using weighting functions (PDL Almon, Beta lags), by applying it to data during the period (1990-2022). The study found that MIDAS models showed statistically significant estimates for modeling monthly global inflation on annual food security. The results showed the positive impact of food exports on food security, and the statistically significant negative impact of both food imports and population distribution, where the Beta lags model was the best model according to the selection test as it has the lowest values for the information criteria
