The Introduction Of Tablets In Primary Schools: What Impact Does It Have On Teacher Training ?
Résumé: In the context of a digital revolution and a quest for optimization, schools aim to improve individual student performance. The introduction of tablets in the classroom marks a shift towards an all-digital environment. However, the training and qualification of teachers and educational staff in various digital uses have not kept pace with this transformation, remaining a challenge to overcome. In this contribution, we will discuss the adaptation of continuing education programs for primary school teachers, based on expressed real needs, new pedagogies, and the challenges of digitalization for optimal educational use of tablets.
