Simulation Study On Perovskite Based Solar Cells(psc)
Résumé: In this work, we studied the photovoltaic performance of solar cells based on MASnI3 perovskite materials, using the simulation tool SCAPS 1-D. The main objective is to improve the performance of this solar cell by determining the optimum properties of its operations. In this context, we studied the effect of several physical factors that help improve its performance. We were particularly interested in studying the effect of the bandgap energy, thickness of perovskite layers, the effect of defect density, concentration of perovskite layer and the effect of temperature, on the properties of the solar cell layer and the extent of efficiency changes with each change, as with each change the efficiency of the solar cell improved from 25% to 31.36% at a temperature of 273 K. From the results of the simulations, it can be summarized that the TiO2/MASnI3/Spiro-OMeTAD structure for PSC is a potential alternative to the third generation of solar cells that can be efficient and inexpensive. However, we need experimental studies to conduct an extensive study regarding the proposed PSC structure
