Arab Monetary Fund Efforts To Promote Financial Inclusion In The Arab Region

Résumé: The importance of financial inclusion is increasingly being recognized by decision makers around the world. There is no doubt that enhancing financial inclusion has positive repercussions on the efficiency of the financial and banking system and ensuring its stability and integrity. At the international Arab level, Arab governments have witnessed a remarkable improvement in financial inclusion indicators, despite the fact that they are still below the required level compared to foreign countries. In this regard, this research paper highlights the efforts of the Arab Monetary Fund in promoting financial inclusion in the Arab region in support of the efforts made by central banks and Arab monetary institutions. This initiative aims to provide technical advice, support financial inclusion strategies and programs in Arab countries and help them improve the possibility of financing and expand banking services.
