Résumé: This study was aimed to determine the role of physical education in reducing shyness level of primary school pupils, also showed the different distinctions of shyness factor amongst pupils who attend physical education class and other pupils who did not. Based on statistical analysis, this study also demonstrated that shyness levels differ amidst different students. The study sampled 90 pupils of primary school level . As a methodology descriptive method in the survey method for the study, we use questionnaires for shyness measurements and From the study, we arrived on the following results: primary school students have low shyness levels, and based on statistical analysis, there are differences in shyness levels between pupils who consistently attend physical education session and those who do not. We also found that, in statistical terms, there are no differences between male and female consistent attendants of physical education sessions. According to the stated results above, we find that physical education contributes to reducing shyness levels among primary school pupils. we emphasize the necessity of educating the pupils (especially those who do not attend) about the importance of physical education session
