Résumé: The study we present intended to show the degree of participation and membership of librarys arab in the arab unified catalog (aruc), in particular, the participation of libraries algerian. This huge project which chappote by the public library elmalik abdelaziz a riadh of saudi arabia, want see in the coming years, all libraries in the arab world intgrees this project, knowing that this project started in 2005, and reched a considerable ratio of arab contribution now until. In respect of algerian libraries, we have found that only two libraries are in direct connection with this project; the national library of algeria and the library of the university of alger1. The national library despite the different contacts with this project, is not yet ready to enjoy, because no automation of its fund documentary. For whom the library of the university of alger1, this one is full membership in this project, and it has arrived, until now, to download on its computers, several thousands catalog cards, and another side it put all its recordes on the basis of arab unified catalog. And it is able to participate at training libraries of nation in coordination with the persons responsible from arab unified catalog, if there will have other membershipes. The contribution of algeria in general is low wherefrom the number of participating libraries. Nationl libraries can profit from this projec to creat a nationl system of information, why not arab system later.
