Résumé: This study examined the role of intellectual capital in its three dimensions (human capital, structural capital, capital of relations) in achieving competitive advantage at the Foreign Bank of Algeria - Ain Temouchent - Beni Saf branch, which is the subject of this study; a questionnaire was drawn to verify the approaches in the theoretical frameworks of the independent variable (intellectual capital) and its relationship with the dependent variable (competitive advantage); the hypotheses were tested based on the SPSS statistical analysis program. The analyzes showed several results, mainly the existence of a statistically significant relationship between intellectual capital and its three dimensions in achieving competitive advantage. The study also showed that the three dimensions mentioned above are available in a large and superior degree and in close proportions. The study was divided into two chapters; the first one was entitled “The theoretical framework of intellectual capital and its role in achieving competitive advantage”, while the second chapter was named “the study of the intellectual capital role in achieving competitive advantage at the Foreign Bank of Algeria - Ain Temouchent - Bani Saf branch." One of the most important recommendations of this study, is to pay more attention to intellectual capital and manage it the way it must be because it is an important source for achieving excellence, and it must be dealt with as the most important strategic resource that the organization possesses; and should maintain it continuously because it is such an effective element in its success, especially in light of the technological development that the business environment knows.
