الأوضاع الاجتماعية والدينية للأسرى المسيحيين في الجزائر خلال العهد العثماني.

Résumé: لقد ِكان للوضعية التي آل إليها العدد الكبير للأسرى المسيحيين في الجزائر خلال العهد العثماني أن حتم على الحكام القائمين على رأس السلطة في الجزائر إلى تكييف أوضاع هؤلاء الأسرى في المجتمع الجزائري بإنشاء مؤسسات جديدة خاصة بهم، تمثلت في السجون والمستشفيات والكنائس وكان الهدف من هذه المؤسسات هو الحفاظ على حياتهم في انتظار عمليات افتدائهم من قبل دولهم وقد عالجت معظم المصادر وخاصة الأجنبية منها هذا الموضوع بشيء من الذاتية، فصورت معاملة أرباب السجون الجزائريين لهم في أبشع الصور واصفة المعاناة والاضطهاد اللذين عاشوهما في الجزائر. ولقد حاولت من خلال هذه الدراسة تسليط الضوء حول حقيقة وضعية الأسرى المسيحيين وكيفية تعامل السلطات الجزائرية آنذاك معهم، عن طريق تبيان طريقة عيشهم وسط المجتمع وكيفية ممارستهم لطقوسهم الدينية الخاصة بهم، بالإضافة إلى التعريج على الجانب الصحي الذي حظوا به. It was the situation that the large number of Christian prisoners in Algeria reached during the Ottoman era that made it necessary for the rulers at the head of power in Algeria to adapt the conditions of these prisoners in Algerian society by establishing new institutions of their own, represented in prisons, hospitals and churches. It is to preserve their lives waiting for their ransoms by their countries. Most of the sources, especially foreign ones, have treated this issue with some subjectivity, and depicted the Algerian prison owners’ treatment of them in the worst forms, describing the suffering and persecution they experienced in Algeria. Through this study, I tried to shed light on the reality of the situation of the Christian prisoners and how the Algerian authorities dealt with it at the time, by showing how they lived in society and how they practiced their own religious rituals, in addition to the health aspect that they enjoyed.
