جماليات الخطاب السردي في الفيلم السينمائي - دراسة تحليلية سيميولوجية لفيلم " Joke

Résumé: This study aims to analyze the aesthetic level of narrative discourse in the film "Joker", by clarifying the principles of formal artistic design and techniques of its directing, as well as the ideas and messages that have achieved in their entirety the aesthetic concept in its visual embodied and abstract mental part, in order to reach dramatic strategies that will attract the recipient and make him interact with the expressive, semantic and rhetorical data that are manifested through the vocabulary of the cinematic language. This study belongs to qualitative research, where it relied on the semiological method as it diagnoses communicative and media phenomena by deep research into visible and implicit symbols. In this context Algirdas Greimas narrative approach was employed as the main approach and Martin Jolie's approach as a secondary approach to the study, and the film "Joker" was adopted as a purposive sample, through which the semiological method was applied during the process of analyzing both the title, the advertising poster and the selected film sequences according to the problematic of the study. The results of the study concluded that the aesthetics of the film "Joker" were achieved through the harmony between the elements of the narrative and the concepts presented in the psychodramatic plot, in addition to the intensive presence of the principles of image semiology, as well as the technical role of film directing in highlighting the connotations of the messages conveyed by the film, while the aesthetic of the idea was manifested through the nature of the issues addressed by the narrative discourse of the film, as it was directly related to human reality.
