Résumé: This work aims to study the impact of electronic waste on the physical and mechanical properties of traditional gypsum bricks (Timchemt). This study falls within the framework of exploiting and valorizing local materials from the southern Algerian region in general and the Ouargla region in particular, as well as effectively utilizing electronic waste to preserve the environment. In this study, increasing proportions of electronic waste were added to traditional gypsum. The results obtained showed that the mixture (4% electronic waste; 96% gypsum) is the best from a mechanical standpoint, due to the cohesion between the electronic waste debris and the traditional gypsum particles. This improvement is estimated at 56% compared to the control. we studied the effect of adding different proportions of cement (1%, 2%... up to 5%) to the optimal mixture and obtained an improvement estimated at 60%.
