Résumé: Arabic language is part of the Arab personality. All Arab States are seeking to promote and develop it in this era, including Algeria, which established its own Council, the "Supreme Council of Arabic Language". It is one of the Arab institutions active in the service of Arabic language, whose efforts we considered to be the subject of our research. The extent to which the Supreme Council has contributed to the modernization of Arabic gazetteers in order to highlight its efforts to modernize the gazetteers for learners. We have identified the Council's considerable efforts to promote and develop Arabic and expand its use in various fields.
