Résumé: الملخص : إن جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين كان لها الأثر الكبير في الحياة الإصلاحية في الجزائر، خاصة أمام السياسة الاستعمارية الرامية لطمس الهوية الوطنية الجزائرية،وضري المقومات الشخصية الأمر الذي جعلها في صراع مع جملة من الطرق الصوفية التي تتعارض معها في بعض المبادئ والأسسس من جهة، والمؤيدة للإستعمار من جهة أخرى. Abstract : The Algerian Muslim Scholars Association had a significant impact on the reformist movement in Algeria, especially in the face of colonial policies aimed at erasing the Algerian national identity and undermining personal values. This placed the association in conflict with various Sufi paths that contradicted some of its principles and foundations on one hand and in favor of colonialism , on the other hand.
