صراع أشور ضد مملكة عيلام (721-681 ق.م)

Résumé: لقد شهدت الدولة الآشورية خلال عصر السلالة السرجونية أخطارًا وتحديات كثيرة هدّدت أمنها واستقرارها، منها الخطر العيلامي، حيث وجّه ملوك عيلام عدّة حملات عسكرية نحو بلاد بابل كما سعوا إلى إحداث الفوضى والقلاقل بالتحالف مع ملوك بابل واستمالتهم ثمّ تحريضهم على العصيان والتمرد، وتشجيعهم على الاستقلال من التبعية الآشورية بدعم حركاتهم التمردية. وقد وجد المؤرخون في حوليات الملوك الآشوريين مصدرًا مهمًا لتقصّي وتتّبع وقائع وأحداث هذه الفترة، فكثيرًا ما كان هؤلاء –الملوك- يتباهون بما حقّقوه من إنجازات، حيث حظيت حملاتهم العسكرية بالمقام الأول والعناية الأهم في الذكر بهذه السجلات، فتحدّثت بإسهاب عن مواقع ومراحل ونتائج حملاتهم ضد أعدائهم. During the reign of Sargon’s Dynasty, the Assyrian Civilization faced many threats and challenges from multiple fronts. Elam was one of the most dangerous of them all due to its kings’ constant intention to shake the political stability of Assyria through either launching military campaigns towards Babel or creating chaos and unrest by forming alliances with the kings of Babel, enticing them to revolt and take their independence, and then supporting their rebellious movements. Historians discovered within the chronicles of the Assyrian kings a significant source to track down and investigate the events of that period. Several Assyrian kings bragged about their achievements within these chronicles in which the military campaigns were the most prominent when it comes to the ample detailing of records, sites, phases, and outcomes of these campaigns against their enemies.
