Résumé: This study dealt with the entry of Mosul under Ottoman rule in 1516, where it witnessed various political changes, and this is by moving from semi-autonomous decentralized rule led by the local family to direct central rule under the banner of the Ottoman Empire, and it faced during the period of Ottoman rule, which extended until 1918, a set of challenges and tribulations, although Mosul maintained its Arabism and cultural specificity that it inherited from the period of local government Galilee. This is why Mosul was the last Iraqi province to enter the orbit of Baghdad, and it can even be said that the history of Mosul during the 19th century AD was nothing but a history of conflict and interaction between its local administrations and the central administration
