Résumé: الملخص: عرفت الحملة الفرنسية على الجزائر عدة دراسات وأبحاث من مختلف الزوايا، وتنوعت المصادر في استنطاق أحداثها، وخاصة منها الفرنسية والانجليزية والاسبانية، ولكنها لم تكن أكاديمية بحثية مثلما كان الحال مع بعض الدراسات التاريخية التركية الأكاديمية الجامعية، التي استطاعت أن تحول أنظار الباحثين إليها نظرا لنزعتها العلمية، وخير مثال على ذلك أطروحة الدكتوراه للمؤرخ التركي آرجمنت كوران الموسومة بعنوان: "السياسة العثمانية تجاه الاحتلال الفرنسي للجزائر"، التي أنجزها عام 1953م بجامعة اسطنبول ونشرت عام 1957م، ونظرا لكونها أول دراسة أكاديمية علمية حول الحملة الفرنسية على الجزائر وجهود الدولة العثمانية في استرجاع إيالة الجزائر بعد احتلالها من قبل فرنسا قام المؤرخ التونسي "عبد الجليل التميمي"بترجمتها من اللغة التركية إلى اللغة العربية. Abstract: The French campaign against Algeria knew several studies and researches fromdifferent angles, and the sources varied in interrogating its events, especially the French, English and Spanish ones, but it was not a research academic as was the case with some Turkish academic historical studies, which were able to divert the attention of researchersto it due to For its scientific tendency, and the best example of this is the doctoral dissertation of the Turkish historian Argement Goran, entitled: “The Ottoman Policytowards the French Occupation of Algeria,” which he completed in 1953 AD at the University of Istanbul and published in 1957 AD.
