Résumé: Job satisfaction is a key pillar which increases the level and quality of professional and organizational performance, and this is what explains the current trend of most business organizations to be interested about the various factors and circumstances surrounding their employees and which affect directly or indirectly their job satisfaction. In this context, the internal work environment of the organization is one of the most important factors which influence job satisfaction of employees, because it plays a key role to increase this feeling. In addition it attracts the best talent to the organization and keeps them inside, and increases their commitment. All this will help to improve performance and productivity of employees and contributes significantly to rise the efficiency of the individual and the organization in the same time. This thesis clarifies the concept of "internal work environment" through his definition and the presentation of its dimensions; then it presents the definitions and sources of job satisfaction represented by: its factors, its effects and measurement methods. Finally, it studies the relationship between these two variables. The practical part was conducted at the Office of Promotion and Property Management of Constantine (OPGI) to determine the nature of the impact of the internal work environment and its dimensions on job satisfaction of employees. The major result found after the study says that the internal work environment of (OPGI) has a significant impact on the job satisfaction of employees, either positively by the effect of the fallowing dimensions: nature of work, leadership, working groups and physical work conditions, or negatively through two dimensions which are: incentives and wages and communication. This, with emphasis on the existence of statistically significant differences concerning the impact of the internal work environment on job satisfaction of employees regarding to their personal variables, represented by: sex, age, level of education, functional classification, and finally the years of experience
