قراءة في كتاب " الفكر العربي في عصر النّهضة" لآلبيرت حوراني

Résumé: يطرح المقال إشكالية مشروع النّهضة في الفكر العربي، بدءًا بإشكاليّة المصطلح "النهضة" في الفكر الغربي، ودلالاته في الفكر العربي. كما يحاول توضيح حالة الصّراع التي تواجه هذا الفكر، الذي وجد نفسه متأرجحا بين نموذجين حضاريين: الحضارة الأوروبية التي نادت بشعارات الحرية و العدالة و المساواة...والحضارة العربية الإسلامية التي كانت بمثابة السند لتأكيد الذات، من جهة، ومواجهة التوّسع الاستعماري و المدّ الأوروبي، من جهة أخرى. طرقنا هذه المسائل من خلال قراءة في كتاب "الفكر العربي في عصر النهضة " لألبيرت حوراني، الذي رصد أهم التّحولات الفكرية و المعرفية والثّقافية التي تعالج مسألة الإصلاح والنّهوض. Abstract : The article raises the problem of the renaissance project in Arab thought, starting with the problem of the term "renaissance" in Western thought, and its implications for Arab thought. It also tries to clarify the state of conflict facing this thought, which found itself oscillating between two civilizational models: the European civilization, which called for the slogans of freedom, justice and equality... and the Arab-Islamic civilization, which served as a support for self-affirmation, on the one hand, and confronting colonial expansion and the European tide. , On the other hand. We approached these issues by reading the book "Arab Thought in the Renaissance" by Albert Hourani, which monitored the most important intellectual, cognitive and cultural shifts that deal with the issue of reform and renaissance.
