Contribution Of Integrated Aquaculture With Agriculture To The Development Of Fish Production And The Promotion Of Food Security Policies In Algeria

Résumé: In recent years, the world has seen a significant increase in food demand, with food security becoming an important public policy priority Algeria, like all the countries of the world, seeks to support the various mechanisms that contribute to achieving food security, Integrated aquaculture with agriculture today is an important choice around the world by preserving the environment, biodiversity and meeting communities' nutritional and economic needs. Through this study, which examines the contribution of integrated aquaculture to the development of fish production and the promotion of food security policies, we have found that this integrated approach plays a major role in increasing and sustaining fish mass and promoting the culture of aquaculture consumption among the population, as well as the provision of high quality and highly productive agricultural products, thereby contributing to the promotion and support of food security policies in Algeria.
