Résumé: This work is devoted to the use of the method (IQE)calculates the quality index of groundwater (to assess the physico-chemical quality of 10 boreholes in Mio-Pliocene in the wilaya of Touggourt. This study was carried out by the introspection of the results of the physico-chemical analyzes of the water samples using the cartography with Surfer and the chemical diagrams (piper, Schoëller, Stiff, Stabler) using software (DIAGRAMMES) and application of analyzes using the WQI groundwater quality index method
