وضعية موريطانيا القانونية بين 25 ق.م و40 م

Résumé: تسلّط هذه الدراسة الضوء على العلاقة التي ربطت روما بمملكة موريطانيا، بعد إعادة إنشائها، في سنة 25 ق. م وإلى غاية سنة 40 م، من خلال التطرُّق إلى بعض المصطلحات المتداولة بين المؤرّخين في تحديد طبيعة هذه العلاقة، ثم تعريف الصيغة القانونية المُعطاة لموريطانيا، والواردة في التشريع الروماني، التي عبّرت عن هذه العلاقة بين الطرفين. ثم الكلام عن حصول ملوك موريطانيا على ألقاب جعلت من مملكتهم تندرج في إطار النفوذ الروماني. وقد طرحت وضعية موريطانيا القانونية نقاشا بين المؤرّخين، أسفر عن وجود اختلافات كثيرة بينهم، إذ نجدهم قد وصفوها بمصطلحات، أغلبها لا ينطبق مع ذلك العصر، لوجود صيغة قانونية في الوثائق الرومانية وهي: "المملكة الصديقة والحليفة للشعب الروماني". This study highlights the Roman-Mauretanian relationship, initiated following the reestablishment of the Kingdom of Mauretania in 25 BC, and up to 40 AC, through an investigation of terms commonly referenced by historians in characterizing this relationship. Furthermore, it undertakes the description of the legal status granted to Mauretania as outlined in Roman legislation, It also delves into the titles held by Mauretanian monarchs, which defined the legal status. Moreover, the study explores the attainment of titles by the monarchs of Mauretania, titles that played a defining role in shaping the legal status of Mauretania. Debates among historians regarding Mauretania's legal status resulted in disparities. In historical descriptions, terminology, largely unsuitable for the Roman era, is influenced by a legal formula designating Mauretania as the 'friendly and allied kingdom of the Roman people.
