Résumé: Abstract This study investigated the attitudes of teachers and students towards English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) in Algerian higher education, with a particular focus on the Department of Laws and Political Sciences at the University of Khenchela. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with faculty members and a questionnaire administered to students. The study explored the factors influencing attitudes toward EMI, including language proficiency, pedagogical approaches, and institutional support. The findings highlighted the complexities and nuances of EMI implementation in Algerian higher education, providing valuable insights for policy decisions and educational practices.
