Simulation And Optimization Of A Wind Energy System In The Adrar Region

Résumé: The production ofElectrical energy from so-called renewable sources in general and wind energy in particular, continues to increase and becomes more and more significant. Currently, the problem is not just how much energy is produced from an unpredictable source but how much can be improved and optimized. Each wind power system contains three main subsystems which can be modeled independently: Turbine (aerodynamic power), Generator side converter (active and reactive power) and the grid side converter (injected power). Our objective in this article is to contribute to the improvement and optimization of the quality of energy produced taking into consideration the real wind speed in the Adrar region. With the help of Simulink, we simulate this energy system and identify it more accurately and easily by monitoring the change in wind speed and its impact on the work of the system.
