Résumé: الملخص بالعربية منذ ارتباط الجزائر بالدولة العثمانية في سنة 1519م ،ساهمت بفضل قوة بحريتها وشجاعة رياسها في معظم معارك البحر المتوسط ،التي دارت بين المشروعين الإسلامي والمسيحي ،واكتسبت أهمية كبرى ومكانة مرموقة في حوض المتوسط بقسميه الشرقي والغربي ،فقد كانت الجزائر قوة يحسب لها حسابها خلال القرن 16م ،من خلال الأدوار التي قامت بها في المتوسط ،ومشاركتها في الأحداث التي دارت في ذلك الحوض ،باعتباره مسرحا للعلاقات والاحتكاك بين دولي ضفتيه الشمالية والجنوبية. ABSTRACT : Since the accession of Algeria to the Ottoman Empire in 1519,thanks to the strength of its navy and the courage to fight it in most of the Méditerranéen battles ,which took place between the Islamic and Christian projects,and gained great importance in the Mediterranean .Algeria was a force to be reckoned with during the 16 th centry ,through its roles on average .
