Résumé: This study aims to identify the the impact of digital education on the communication process in the educational environment from the point of view of students, where a field study was conducted at the Department of Sociology at the University of KasdiMerbahOuargla, to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used to interpret the phenomenon in question. two tools were also used in the collection of information are the observation of participation and the electronic questionnaire, where the latter was distributed to all the students of the master in the Department of Sociology and Demography and estimated number of (160) students, but was retrieved (88) form only. After analyzing the data and discussing the results, a series of results were reached, the most important of which are:  It turns out that most of the digital learning materials taught are lectures compared to directed works. Most of the respondents also have accounts in the digital education platform provided by the university educational site, in addition to all the necessary procedures to achieve communication between the various active subjects - students and professors - with ease and comfort. Thus, digital education positively affects the communication between the professor and the student in the university educational environment.  It was found that in digital education the professor offers the scientific material in modern and attractive ways and by diversifying the methods and methods of teaching, which led to the creation of an environment that allows questions and discussion during the presentation of the class and access to common understanding, where language played a pivotal role in achieving positive interaction. Digital education affects and enhances the interaction between teacher and student in the educational environment.  Despite the great importance attached by the Ministry of higher Education in general and the University of Algiers in particular to digital education, some of the difficulties encountered in accessing educational classes are due to the lack of software configurations, the weakness of the Internet and the use of the professor voice without the image during the lecture. all of these are physical technical obstacles that have an impact on the proper functioning of the digital education process in the educational environment
