Résumé: تهدف هذه الدراسة الى التعريف بأحد اقطاب الدراسات التاريخية الافريقية في الجزائر وبلاد المغرب تصدّر المؤلف لهذه الدراسات في فترة تندر فيها الأبحاث العربية المتخصصة في هذا الميدان، يتميز أسلوب المؤلف بالبساطة وعدم التكلف مع الدقة في الوصف والعمق في التحليل تظافرت مجموعة من العوامل ميزته عن غيره في هذا الميدان وانعكست على مؤلفاته واسهاماته العلمية المتنوعة بين التأليف والتحقيق والترجمة. This study aims to introduce one of the major African historical studies in Algeria and the countries of the Maghreb, which is known by a simplicity of style with accuracy in description and analysing deeply . A group of factors came together that distinguished him from others in this field and reflected on his books and his various products between authoring, investigation and translation.
