The Reflection Of Financial Development And Trade Openness On The Economic Growth Of North African Countries Using The Dynamic Panel Model

Résumé: The aim of this study is to investigate the reflection of financial development and trade openness on the economic growth of some Countries of North Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt), during the period 1990-2022, using the dynamic panel model estimated by the generalized method of moments (GMM). The results indicate that Firstly, both trade openness and financial indicators demonstrate a consistently positive and statistically significant influence on economic growth and it uncovers that a well-developed financial sector, can amplify the positive effect of trade openness on economic growth. This underscores the importance of fostering financial institutions alongside trade policies to maximize economic gains. تهدف هذه المقالة الى دراسة انعكاس التطور المالي والانفتاح التجاري على النمو الاقتصادي لبعض دول شمال افريقيا (الجزائر، مصر وتونس) خلال الفترة 1990-2022، بالاعتماد على نموذج البانل الديناميكي المقدر بطريقة الفروق العامة للعزوم GMM . وخلصت الدراسة الى ان لكل من الانفتاح التجاري والتطور المالي تأثيرا معنويا وايجابيا ملحوظا بشكل متسق على النمو الاقتصادي، وكشفت أيضا ان تطور القطاع المالي يمكن ان يعزز الانعكاس الإيجابي للانفتاح التجاري على النمو الاقتصادي في الدول المدروسة، وهذا يؤكد على أهمية تعزيز المؤسسات المالية إلى جانب سياسات التجارة لتحقيق أقصى قدر من المكاسب الاقتصادية.
