Résumé: This field study aims to highlight the important and prominent role of the customs administration in suppressing and combating the crime of smuggling, as the central administration that organizes and operates in accordance with the terms of reference given to it by the Algerian legislator, in view of the seriousness of this crime. Crimes against the state economy in general, and the crime of smuggling in particular.
