Résumé: الملخص تعتبر الحرية الفكرية بما تشتمل عليه من حرية التعبير وحرية الرأي والجهر بالرأي من المواضيع المهمة والأساسية المطروحة في أيامنا هذه، فمن الواضح أن حرية الفكر تعتبر العنصر الأهم والأكبر مما يطلق عليه اسم الديمقراطية. فإنه من الأهمية بمكان أن ننظر إلى حرية الفكر في الحضارة العربية الإسلامية من حيث مبدأ مقرر فيها أو مستبعد عنها من خلال رصد مظاهر التبدل والتطور التي عرفتها قيمة الحرية الفكرية في تاريخ الحضارة العربية الإسلامية.
