Résumé: ملخص عرف المجتمع الجزائري في النصف الثاني من القرن 19 العديد من التحديات، خاصة تلك المتعلقة بالهوية والثقافة والأعراف والدين، وهي عادة ما تكون جد حساسة للغاية في أي مجتمع كان؛ لقد حاول الاستعمار الفرنسي طمس تلك الهوية من أجل السيطرة على المجتمع بثقافته الاستعمارية الجديدة؛ إلا أن قادة المجتمع ولا سيما العلماء والقضاة واجهوا المحتل الجديد باستماتة، ونذكر منهم الشيخ المكي بن باديس القسنطيني الجزائري (1820-1890) الذي استغل وسائل عصره للدفاع عن قضايا مجتمعه. من هنا فان إشكالية هذه الدراسة هي: إلى أي مدى استطاع الشيخ المكي بن باديس مواجهة تحديات المجتمع الجزائري في هذه المرحلة؟ وما تأثير الظروف التاريخية في مساهماته الإصلاحية؟ تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على دور الشيخ المكي بن باديس في مواجهة السياسة الاستعمارية الفرنسية في الجزائر خلال النصف الثاني من القرن 19. الكلمات المفتاحية: المكي ابن باديس – قسنطينة – الجزائر – القضاء – الاستعمار الفرنسي. Abstract Algerian society had known in the second half of nineteenth century, many challenges, especially that concerning the identity, culture and norms which very sensitives are in any given state. French colonialism, tried to blur that identity and culture in order to control the society with new culture. However, the leaders of Algeria society, particularly Olammaa of Sharia, among them Sheikh Al-Makki Ibn Badis Al-Qusentini (1820-1890) who tried to face these challenges. The problem research of this study is: what extent was Sheikh al-Makki Ibn Badis able to face the challenges of Algerian society at this stage? And what was the impact of historical circumstances that affected his reform contributions? The objective of this study isto light of the role Sheikh Al-Makki Ibn Badis in the face of the French colonial policy in Algeria during the second half of the 19th century.
