Protection Cathodique Pour Une Conduite De Gaz En Acier
Résumé: This study aims to protect steel gas pipelines using the cathodic protection system of Sonelgaz Company in Touggourt, as these means are particularly prone to corrosion. The study consists of a theoretical part and a practical part, where in the practical part, we addressed the protection of these structures using cathodic protection by imposed current, based on measuring the potentials between the buried pipelines and the soil over three months (February, March, April), where the value should not exceed -850 millivolts compared to the Cu/CuSO₄ reference electrode. During the month of April, it was observed that the potentials exceeded the limit value, which was due to heavy rains in April, as demonstrated by the results obtained for the measurement points PP 11 and PP 12.
