Caractérisation Sédimentologique, Pétrographique, Statistique Du Réservoir Cambro-ordovicien, Champ D’el Gassi, Bassin De Oued M’ya, Sud Algérien
Résumé: The field of El Gassi is one of the oldest fields in southern Algeria, during the last years it underwent a lowering of production, so a re-exploitation and updating of the data is recommended to promote the production, we present a study that consists of a sedimentological, petrographic and diagenetic characterization coupled with a statistical division throughout the reservoir, it is necessary to awaken the best drain. The sedimentological and statistical characterization shows that the RaU3B unit is the most promoter with an average porosity of 6%, average permeability of 23 mD, average saturation 68% and an average thickness of 12.5 m. The mapping of these parameters gives a continuity of the phenomenon in the direction (NE-SW), which is favorable for choosing the azimuth of Short Radius wells to increase the production and meets the needs of the economy.
