Résumé: مدار دراستنا كونية فكرة التسامح في عصر التنوير، واستدعائها في الفكر الغربي المعاصر، والتساؤل عن جدواها كطرح فلسفي متجدد لمواجهة العنف الرَّاهن وخطابات الكراهية ، من خلال التعرض لدلالات العنف، قبل الولوج إلى منشأ فكرة التسامح، وانسحابها إلى خطاب الأنوار . و بالبحث في الفكر المعاصر، ولدى المفكر"تازفيتان تودوروف"؛ نحاول استجلاء كم الوفاء للتنوير في نزعته الكونية والنقدية، وجدية السعي لإستعادة مبدأ التسامح الكوني. ديمومة عطاء التنوير، وكونية أفكاره، إشكالية مركزية في فكر" تودوروف"، تفترض صيرورة للتسامح ضمن توليفة هذه الأفكار ليصبح مبدءاً كونيا، يقترن بالتعددية المفضية إلى الوحدة، وتستلهم روح الأنوار التي كشفت فضائل التعايش في ظل التنوع . Abstract :Our study addressed the universality of the enlightenment idea of tolerance and its invocation in contemporary Western thought, and questioning its usefulness a renewed philosophical proposition to counter current violence, by touching on the connotations of violence before tackling the origin of the tolerance and its shift to the discourse of enlightenment. By investigating contemporary thought" Tzvetan Todorov", to clarify the extent of faithfulness to the universality of enlightenment and its critical. The cosmic enlightenment ideas is a central problem in his thought, which assumes the process of tolerance within it to become a universal principle that is associated with pluralism
