Institutional Cooperation In Shale Gas: The Role Of The Military In Algeria's Development
Résumé: This study focuses on the importance of institutional cooperation in the field of shale gas and highlights the prominent role of the military in providing security, stability, and promoting development in this sector. The study concludes that Algeria has all the necessary qualifications to become a leader in shale gas, thanks to its material and human resources, despite lacking exploration technology. This has prompted Algeria to open its doors to specialized international companies for investment, despite potential terrorist threats in the south that put the energy sector at risk. However, the military establishment remains the main guarantor of shale gas investments.
