Legislative Elections In Algeria: Reading In The Post-authoritarian Electoral Measure
Résumé: This study aims at examining the path of elections in Algeria since the shift toward political and party pluralism at the end of the 1980s It focuses on legislative elections as a mechanism for political change and the role of the electoral system as a mechanism that governs the conduct of the electoral process and adjusts its results according to the sociology approach of elections based on three crisis mechanics, which are the freedom of the voter, the election competition and the election bet to settle the post-authoritarian elections that the country will witness in the future it would be a true test of the credibility of a real political change that would be interrupted by the authoritarian legacy of electoral action
