Résumé: This research deals with the subject of the mask in contemporary Algerian Arabic feminist literature, as a modern technique in literary practice in general, and feminist writing in particular. It is an artistic tool that is as old as the creative process, but the feminist writer has overruled it on the expense of her writing experience in a concrete way, in order to make a transition from the eloquence of clarity to that of ambiguity, in its diligent attempt to create new artistic means, enriching its expressive language and alleviating lyricism and directness in speech and expression, especially when dealing with banned issues, which she should not approach, in the midst of an arrogant masculine society, working on excluding her from the speech act and keeping her out of the creative practice. On the other hand, the feminist writer seeks to establish a different style of writing based on the change of the prevailing, according to an underlined program that aims at the rejection of the patriarchal masculine authority dominant over literature in its general form, and then frees the woman from the constraints that hinder her thinking, and thus the liberation of her pen from the control of masculinity. The features of this new style began to appear in the literary scene due to the courage of woman and her temptation to penetrate the world of writing, relying in that on awareness of knowledge, based on exposing the concealed, and revealing the unspoken, through deceiving the masculine text and dodging it, in accordance to a firm strategy, the feminist writer has woven its threads with high accuracy and extreme delicacy, relying on various forms of persuasion starting from the pseudonym to the intersexuality between texts, passing by the masculine narrator, and writing with the body, which the male society cannot decipher its codes. In all this, she seeks to refute cultural claims that literature is masculine and to prove its feminine identity and to assert its presence in the creative sphere.
